AN OLD PROBLEM…

Traditionally, people in the workforce have often been managed as if they were parts of a well-oiled machine.

1 As replaceable parts of a mechanical operating system, they were kept "well-oiled" so they wouldn’t squeak too much! This mechanical perception also identifies people as "the cause" of problems.

1 This view is embedded in the beliefs and values of the workforce at every level. It directly limits the potential success of team-based, self-managing systems. Many productivity problems are due to these archaic ideas that still distort each employee’s perceptions and values.

1 These archaic ideas foster a complex array of vague assumptions, poor communication, "blame games" and scape goating.

SAME OLD PROBLEM WITH A NEW FACE…
Many of the problems found in newer Team-Based Operating Systems are in fact rooted in the false perceptions and wrong assumptions of the old "cog-based" systems.

1 Typically today, companies learn the jargon of teams in an attempt to acquire the synergistic value of teamwork.

Too often, employers, at a loss to understand what new skills are required by each team-member do not realize the anticipated results. The employee is not the problem. Learning how to follow and cooperate with dignity and self-reliance is as vital to company profit as is effective leadership.

1 Self-managing employees who are empowered to continuously improve their methods and processes naturally participate in the elimination of wasted action and materials.

Our job is to help you achieve the anticipated gains in a timely manner at least-cost!
